Most Plainfield pergolas can be installed within a couple days from start to finish. We like to use large scale rough sawn cedar. They start with a sturdy concrete footing to stabilize each post. Most Plainfield pergolas are 9 ft. to the lowest point and 9 ft 10 inches within the usable area. This allows for outdoor ceiling fans, T.V.’s, lighting, shade covers and mood lights to fit everyone’s unique individual style.

All of our cedar is brought in from the best local cedar distributors in the state. The wood is pre-dried and the best in quality. With our specialized carpenters creating and constructing these on site we have the flexibility in design in lumber spacing to provide relief from the harsh direct rays of the sun while allowing sunlight access to fill the space.

You have the option to stain these or let them weather to their natural light grey color. If you would like us to stain your Plainfield pergola, we can do so, we use Rymar’s Extreme Weather stain, which is one of the best cedar stains on the market. It has a UV and moisture protectant, it has a citronella to help fight off unwanted mosquitos which comes from an organic substance obtained from leaves of a Asiatic Lemon Oil Grass. It has a natural pepper additive to help discourage bees, bugs, spiders and birds from chewing on it. It also has an excellent PTFE used to both repel water and help protect against weather erosion. Product comes in a variety of different colors to enhance and beautify your pergola for years to come.
